(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that ten people were either killed or wounded in a bomb blast near a popular market south of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, at noon today, near a popular market in Yusufiya vicinity south of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring nine others.”

The source added, “The ambulance rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while the security force cordoned off the incident’s area and prevented approaching it.”
