Car bomb explosion kills, wounds 38 people in central Karbala

(IraqiNews.com) Karbala – On Tuesday, a source in Karbala police announced, that a number of people were either killed or wounded in a booby-trapped vehicle explosion in central Karbala.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “A booby-trapped vehicle that was parked on the roadside exploded, at noon today, in the intersection of al-Husseini neighborhood in central Karbala, killing and wounding a number of people”

Another source in Karbala Health Directorate said later in a statement, “The final outcome of the car bomb explosion reached three dead and 35 wounded,” adding that, “The wounded are still receiving treatment in al-Husseini Hospital.”
