(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD – Security forces have reopened Karrada Dakhil Street in central Baghdad for public use. The road was closed on July 3 earlier this month, after a powerful blast ripped off the area and killed over a scores of people.

Sharing details about it, a local source seeking anonymity said, “Security forces have reopened the Karrada Dakhil street today for public use. This street was closed for public public use a fortnight ago after a powerful blast on July 3 killed scores of people and left a dozen more injured.”

“The entrance to the area from Kahramana Square witnessed traffic jam this morning due to the strict inspection procedures,” the source further added.
