Kurdish MP: Parliament chairmanship to decide over Talabani’s post

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Alaa Talabani, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated “Only the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, has the right to decide the continuity of the President, Jalal Talabani, in his post or not.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The side releases statements over Talabani’s health condition is the presidency and the only side responsible for keeping him in his post is Nijaifi.”
