Norwegian DNO Co. discovers crude oil in Kurdistan Region
(IraqiNews.com) The DNO Norwegian Company confirmed discovering crude oil in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
A statement by the Company which is located in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, reported on Tuesday that “The DNO discovered oil crude at depth of about two thousand meters in Taqween Bikhumi area in oil well to assess the discovery.”
DNO Co. is considered as one of the oil companies that have contracted with Kurdistan Regional Government; however, those contracts were rejected by the Central Government.
