 Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation visit Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – In recognition of the delegation representing the Arab Gulf football federations taking part in the 25th Gulf Cup in Basra, the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, hosted a lunch on the banks of the Tigris River in Baghdad, Iraq.

The conference was attended by the Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, President of the Arab Gulf Football Federation, Asaad Al Eidani, Governor of Basra, Ahmed Al Mubarqa’a, Minister of Youth and Sports for Iraq, Adnan Dirjal, President of the Iraqi Football Association, and representatives from the Gulf countries who head their respective national football federations.

Al-Sudani informed the visitors that the tournament’s supporting infrastructure would remain in place and that the Iraqis will continue to include their Gulf brothers among their own families and brothers.

Moreover, a number of Gulf media experts visited Baghdad, including Qatari television presenter Khalid Jassim, the Al-Kass channel team, journalist Yaqoob Al-Saadi, and the AD Sports channel crew.
