Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi government announced three days of mourning throughout Iraq for the victims of Al-Mamdani Hospital, which was bombarded by Israeli occupying forces in Gaza on Tuesday.

The spokesperson of the Iraqi government, Basem Al-Awadi, said in a statement that the whole world should take action other than condemnation to stop the Israeli killing machine that targets civilians.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said that at least 500 people were killed on Tuesday after the Israeli forces targeted the hospital in central Gaza.

Following the attack carried out by Hamas on October 7, Israel established a total blockade of the Gaza Strip and continued heartless bombing, pushing almost half of Gaza’s 2.3 million population from their homes and leading to a humanitarian catastrophe as food, fuel, and water supplies are critically low.

According to Palestinian sources, around 3,000 people have been killed, mostly women and children, and 12,500 have been injured because of Israel’s assault on Gaza.

Israeli officials said that 1,400 people have been killed and 3,500 have been injured in rocket launches and terror acts by Hamas.

There are reportedly between 200 and 250 hostages held by Hamas.

US news outlets said that around 600 US citizens are stranded in Gaza, indicating that 13 US citizens are still missing, while 30 others have been confirmed dead.
