 Iraq, Estonia discuss economic cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi President, Abdul Latif Rashid, confirmed on Tuesday that Iraq is making efforts to enhance its economic collaboration with Estonia.

In a joint press conference with his Estonian counterpart, Alar Karis, Rashid said that Iraq is attempting to deepen its economic ties with Estonia, noting that Iraq is witnessing remarkable stability, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

“We denounce the attacks on Iraqi territory,” Rashid said. “We also condemn the ongoing aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and call for an immediate ceasefire,” he added.

The Estonian President explained that the bilateral relationship with Iraq is active, noting that he discussed in Iraq the challenges in Europe and the Middle East.

Karis indicated that Iraq is currently enjoying prosperity. “We are putting everything we have into achieving stability and peace in Iraq,” he said.

The Estonian President emphasized Estonia’s support for international efforts to stop the war in Gaza.
