Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Haider Mohammad Makiya, the Head of the National Investment Authority, launched the Downtown Baghdad Project on Saturday, which will include constructing Iraq’s tallest tower, with 65 floors.

Makiya stated during his remarks at the inaugural ceremony that the Downtown Baghdad Project will be a modern and contemporary residential complex. According to Makiya, the project will be sustainable, with no additional costs for electrical energy or thermal insulation paid by the operating companies.

The Iraqi government is committed to supporting such crucial projects, and according to Makiya, the project incorporates cutting-edge architecture and top-of-the-line amenities while keeping sustainability in mind.
