Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, confirmed on Wednesday that the government is seeking to arrange relations with the international coalition in terms of combating terrorism, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The statement illustrated that Al-Sudani received the Estonian Minister of Defense, Hanno Pevkur, and his accompanying delegation in Baghdad, where they discussed the relations between Iraq and Estonia and ways to promote these relations.

The meeting addressed Estonia’s participation in the international coalition to combat terrorism, the importance of developing the bilateral economic partnership, and promoting cooperation in the areas of cybersecurity and digitalization, according to the statement.

The statement clarified that the Iraqi Prime Minister stressed his government’s endeavor to arrange relations with the international coalition within the framework of combating terrorism, in line with the post-war phase against ISIS terrorists.

Al-Sudani also stressed the need to confront the discourse that promotes and incites violence and stirs up hatred between people.
