 Iraqi PM discusses relations between Iraq and Algeria

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, highlighted the importance of resuming the meetings of the joint bilateral committee between Iraq and Algeria, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The statement illustrated that Al-Sudani’s remarks took place during his meeting with the Algerian Ambassador to Iraq, Djihad Eddine Belkas, on Thursday.

The Iraqi Prime Minister indicated the importance of bilateral relations between Iraq and Algeria and the mutual desire to promote joint cooperation in different fields, stressing the need to resume the meetings of the joint bilateral committee.

A-Sudani explained that the stances of both countries towards many Arab and regional issues are identical, according to the statement.

Belkas stressed the desire of the Algerian government to promote relations and cooperation in various bilateral fields between the two countries.
