 Iraqi PM meets with top UAE corporations in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi (IraqiNews.com) – On the occasion of his official visit to the UAE, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani met with a number of well-known business leaders Thursday evening in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting’s main objectives were to assess the potential for business and economic collaboration with Iraq and the prospects presented by the Iraqi government to begin significant infrastructure and strategic projects across Iraqi cities.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, Al-Sudani discussed how open Iraq is to all kinds of commerce, economic cooperation, and collaboration as well as anything that aims to promote and enhance the services offered to Iraqi locals. In order to preserve a long-term investment cooperation and establish a stable investment climate in the Iraqi market, they addressed the industries open to UAE enterprises.

DP World Logistics Company Chairman Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) Jasim Husain Thabet, Chairman of Emaar Properties Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Rotana Company Nasser Al Nowais, and President of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, attended the high-level meeting.
