Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, opened the Saudi pavilion at the Baghdad International Fair, where Saudi Arabia is the guest of honor for the 47th version of the exhibition.

95 Saudi companies from various sectors are participating in the Baghdad International Fair to enhance trade exchange opportunities and create export opportunities by holding business meetings and signing trade and export agreements.

Saudi Arabia’s participation is the largest in the exhibition to promote national goods and services and enhance their access to the Iraqi market, which is one of the most important and promising international markets.

Saudi Arabia’s participation in the Baghdad International Fair reflects its desire to strengthen the economic partnership with Iraq and build strong relations. It also emphasizes Saudi efforts to empower and support local manufacturers and exporters in various sectors to enhance and facilitate the access of their products and services to the Iraqi market.

Through its participation in the exhibition, Saudi Arabia is trying to achieve the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify sources of income for the national economy by enhancing the quality of Saudi products and services.

The activities of the 47th version of the Baghdad International Fair kicked off on Wednesday with the participation of 840 companies from different countries.

The current version of the Baghdad International Fair is unique in terms of the number of participating countries, which reached 20 from different parts of the world.

226 Iraqi companies from different sectors such as electricity, healthcare and medical equipment, telecommunications, agriculture, food industry, clothing, fashion, furniture, banking, tourism, and advertising are taking part in the current version of the Iraqi exhibition.

The current exhibition is taking place in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, between January 10 and 19.
