Iraq’s oil exports decline in February

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Sunday that oil exports declined in February compared to the previous month.
According to final statistics issued by the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), the total exports of crude oil during February were 99,592,311 barrels, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported.
SOMO data revealed that the total quantities of crude oil exported during February from oil fields in central and southern Iraq were 98,183,554 barrels per day; the quantities exported to Jordan were 433,126 barrels per day; and oil exports from the Al-Qayyarah oilfield in Nineveh governorate in northern Iraq were 33,642 barrels per day.
Iraq’s total exports of crude oil during January were slightly more than 103.5 million barrels, with revenues reaching $8,025,616.
Iraq’s average daily oil exports in January reached 3,338,982 barrels, while the average price per barrel reached $77,536.
The average price per barrel in December was $76.96, compared to $82.36 in November, when crude oil exports surpassed 102.97 million barrels.
