Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi U-20 national team tied with its Brazilian counterpart in a friendly match held in Spain on Tuesday.

The match ended in a 1-1 tie where the goal of the Iraqi team was scored by Abdul-Razzak Qassem in the 45th minute and the goal of the Brazilian team was scored by Kevin in the 60th minute.

A statement issued by Iraq Football Association (IFA) mentioned that the match is part of the preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals, and was attended by IFA President, Adnan Dirjal.

The statement also illustrated that the Iraqi U-20 team is having a training camp in Spain.

The coaches of the two teams made several changes to give the opportunity to other players, as the Iraqi team played realistically in the remaining minutes of the second half.

Most of the Iraqi players put in an excellent performance at their match against players of the Brazilian team who play in the best European and Brazilian clubs.

The Iraqi U-20 team will play its third friendly match in Spain against Real Betis U-21 team on May 1, and will conclude its matches on May 3 against Gibraltar.
