 Iraq’s women volleyball team beat Saudi Arabia

Amman (IraqiNews.com) – In the opening match of the first West Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship, the Iraqi women’s volleyball team defeated the Saudi women’s national team. With ease, Iraq defeated Saudi Arabia 25-9, 25-14, and 25-10.

Ten teams are competing for the top spot in the inaugural West Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship, which is being hosted in Amman, Jordan from November 13 to November 24.

Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria made up Pool A, while Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Jordan, the pool’s host nation, made up Pool B.

Lebanese players outperformed Palestine, defeating the underdogs 25-12, 25-16, and 25-12. Following their stunning 25-10, 25-18, 25-8 victory, the UAE beat Qatar. Jordan defeated Oman with a commanding 25-15, 25-10, and 25-14 victory.
