Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Officials responsible for the Italian pavilion in the 46th edition of Baghdad International Fair where eight Italian companies with different specializations are participating confirmed that these Italian companies are trying to establish partnerships with the Iraqi government, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The participating Italian companies are specialized in luxurious furniture, eco-friendly plants, waste recycling factories, bricks and granite manufacturing, as well as slaughterhouses for cows, sheep and poultry, INA mentioned.

Officials responsible for the Italian pavilion expressed their hope that the participating Italian companies could attract the Iraqi government to establish partnerships by concluding contracts with the government to contribute to the reconstruction of the country’s infrastructure.

The 46th edition of Baghdad International Fair was launched on Tuesday with the participation of more than 363 companies from 13 Arab and foreign countries, INA mentioned.

The 46th edition of Baghdad International Fair is taking place in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, from November 1 to November 10, and is organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Trade and the State Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services.
