Saudi initiative to reconstruct Technical Institute in Kirkuk

Baghdad (iraqiNews.com) – Kirkuk Governor Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri announced on Sunday a Saudi initiative to reconstruct the Technical Institute in Al-Hawija district in Kirkuk governorate, according to a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Jubouri indicated that the Technical Institute in Al-Hawija district was completely destroyed during the military operations carried out to fight ISIS terrorist groups.
Al-Jubouri explained that a meeting was held in the Saudi city of Jeddah with the Islamic Development Bank, in the presence of an Iraqi delegation, to reconstruct the Technical Institute in Al-Hawija.
Kirkuk Governor elaborated that the Iraqi delegation included the planning director in Kirkuk governorate, in addition to representatives of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terroristic Operations (REFAATO), and the Ministry of Planning.
Al-Jubouri added that Kirkuk governorate is seeking support to restore stability and to reconstruct all areas destroyed by ISIS terrorists.
