Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Three distinct concrete batching units were recently installed by ELKON in Iraq. Al-Diwaniyah, Al-Kut, and Baghdad all had the installations.

In Baghdad, the Elkomix-135 Quick Master Compact Concrete Plant was put into operation. With an ELKON twinshaft mixer and a dry filling capacity of 5000 liters, the plant can create 3.33 m3 of vibrated concrete every cycle.

With a 3375/2250 liter ELKON Twinshaft mixer, the Elkomix-120 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant in the city of Al-Diwaniyah can churn out up to 110m3 of vibrated concrete per hour. Two different aggregates are weighed simultaneously in this concrete plant’s T-type aggregate hopper, cutting the weighing time in half.

The Elkomix-135 Stationary Concrete Plant in Al-Kut can create up to 135 m3 of high-quality concrete per hour as soon as production begins.

With its headquarters in Turkey, ELKON has more than 4,000 concrete batching units running in 130 nations since it began producing concrete machinery in 1975.
