Iran accuses Turkey of supporting ISIS, warns of transmission of ISIS crisis to its territory

Tehran (IraqiNews.com) Iran sent a strongly worded warning about the extent of a threat to Turkey, because of what Iran described as “Turkey’s dangerous policies” in Syria and Iraq, warning that the crisis in the two countries may move into its territory if Ankara didn’t “modify its behavior.”

Iran’s official news agency quoted on the head of the Iranian Shura Council, Ali Larijani as saying during a meeting of what is known as “the front of the marchers to the approach of state” in the Shura Council that “it should not be neglect the serious moves of Turkey in Syria and Iraq.”

Brigadier General and head of the political bureau of the Army of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Yadollah Javani, said that “the crisis in Iraq and Syria will move to Turkey if Ankara did not modify its behavior.”

Javani accused Turkey as “it is topping the supporters of the organization ISIS” pointing out that “Ankara is seeking to improve its position by causing regional problems.”
