 Pakistan, Arab countries to participate in “Hazm Storm” operation in Yemen

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, Saudi authorities announced that Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Pakistan had volunteered to participate in the military operation against Houthis in Yemen along with five Gulf states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain.

An official Saudi press agency reported that all of Jordan, Sudan, Morocco, Egypt and Pakistan expressed their willingness to participate in Al-Hazm Storm operation in Yemen.

100 Saudi aircrafts and 150 thousand soldiers will participate in the operation, as well as  from Saudi Arabia. The Gulf States and other Arab states will participate with their fighter aircrafts in coordination with the Saudi leadership.

Emirates has sent 30 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, and the news is talking about the participation of aircrafts from Jordan and Morocco, as well as news about the participation of Sudan alongside the Gulf states.

It was reported that Egypt moved a number of military vessels from Suez toward the southern Red Sea.

Cairo expressed early in the morning of Thursday its willingness to participate in an aerial, marine and ground campaign if necessary.
