Abadi lays a wreath at the tomb of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk
(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi laid a wreath at the tomb of the founder of the Turkish state, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Abadi’s office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi laid a wreath at the tomb of the founder of the Turkish state, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.”
The office added, “The Prime Minister’s agenda will include the beginning of bilateral meetings with the Turkish Prime Minister Mr. Ahmet Davutoglu, who is to receive him in an official ceremony at the headquarters of premiership, and then to hold informal meetings between members of the ministerial delegations.”
The office said, “The Prime Minister will meet this evening with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.”
