Alewi describes MPs’ vacations as "Illegtimate"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Karim Alewi, of the Iraqi National Alliance considered the vacations and holydays of the MPs as “Illegitimate.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The parliament represents the Iraqi people and Iraq is in a critical situation where the parliament has to observe the political, security and service situations rather than granting the MPs illegitimate vacations and holidays.”

He called “The parliament chairmanship to cancel the legislative holidays of the MPs because Iraq is facing difficult political and security situation and the parliament has to serve the Iraqi people.”
