Alousi expects intense political mudslinging as MPs try to keep their posts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Democratic Civil Alliance, Mithal al-Alousi, revealed that the next stage of parliament will include accusations of conspiracy and treason by some politicians in an effort to hold control over posts.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Religious Authority did well by calling for all parties to adhere to the interests of Iraq and human values.”

“Some sides do not respect the calls of the Religious Authority and think only about how to keep their posts and to preserve their personal interests,” he concluded.
