Iraq Oil Minister says final oil export agreement for KRG – CG is near

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Oil Minister, Abdul Karim Luaibi, announced a close agreement between Kurdistan Region and the Central Government.

On the margins of the Turkish 13th Oil and Gas Conference held in Ankara, Luaibi said “During the next few days, an agreement will be reached between Kurdistan Region and Central Government over oil exportation and also new pipelines that will be installed to transport oil to Turkey.”

“The installation of the oil pipelines will be discussed with Turkey where Iraq wants to pump a million oil barrels per day to Turkey,” he concluded.
