(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Council of Ministers approved on Tuesday the draft law of anti-money laundering and the financing of “terrorism”.

Abadi’ office said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com: “The Council of Ministers held today its regular session number 45 headed by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.”

Abadi’s office added, “The Council approved the draft law of anti-money laundering, and the financing of terrorism,” noting that, “this project is of great importance for his role in drying the sources of terrorism and to respond to international trends in this respect.”
