China confirms its support for Iraq against terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Chinese government has confirmed its support for Iraqi efforts in the fight against terrorism and to support efforts to speed up the process of political reconstruction and national reconciliation.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “Minister Hoshyar Zebari received today, China’s special envoy to the Middle East who handed Zebari, a letter from his Chinese counterpart in which he said that the Chinese side as a sincere friend of Iraq firmly supports efforts in the fight against terrorism and supports Iraq’s efforts to speed up the process of reconstruction and national reconciliation.”
