Defense Minister, Citizen bloc discuss preprations to liberate Mosul

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The chief of the parliament Citizen bloc, Hamid Al-Khudari discussed with the Defense Minister, Khalid Al-Obaidi, the security situation and the victories the security forces have achieved while fighting with IS militants.

The Defense Minister welcomed today head of Citizen Bloc in addition to other MPs. They conferred about the security developments and the recent security victories achieved by the Iraqi Army in Diyala and Salah il-Din provinces as well as the release of Baghdadi sub-district, said a statement by Defense Ministry.

The attendees also talked about the readiness of the military to set free Mosul city and pursue IS militants, according to the statement.
