Former MP denounces destroying holy shrines, churches in Nineveh

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Former MP, Emad Yokhana, of al-Rafidain bloc condemned detonating the holy shrines of the prophets and the churches in Mosul by the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant terrorists.

Speaking to Iraqi News, he said “We call the international community to present real help for Iraq in its war against terrorism.”

“Detonated the holy places is a barbaric crime that has no connection to Islam or any other religion,” he added.

He criticized “The international silence towards these crimes that target the Iraqi Civilization.”
