IHEC registers 8275 candidates, 139 political entities for next PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced registering 8275 candidates and 139 political entities and alliances for next Provincial Council elections.

The head of the Electoral Administration of the IHEC, Muqdad al-Shirifi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The number of the candidates to participate in next PCs elections reached 8275.”

“All over the provinces, 139 political entities will participate in PCs elections,” he concluded.
