IHHRC member accuses Iraqi Government of fighting Commission

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Independent Higher Human Rights Commission, Bushra al-Ubaidi, revealed that “The Iraqi Government did not grant the Commission a building or employees cadres so far.”

Ubaidi accused in a statement the “Iraqi Government of fighting the IHHRC in order to disturb its performance in unclosing the violations of human rights.”

“Moreover, the budget of the commission was not submitted till end of 2012 fiscal year,” she added.
