Iqbal attributes health situation’s backwardness in Iraq to lack of funds, bureaucracy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliament Health & Environment Committee, MP Mohamed Iqbal, attributed the backwardness of the health situation in Iraq to the shortage of the financial allocations from the federal budget and due to the clear bureaucracy at the ministries.

Iqbal added in a statement to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The health situation in Iraq is still very deteriorated as Iraq suffered many wars and unrests that damaged the infrastructures of the country, which in turn affected the health and environment postures.”

“The health situation in Iraq needs a serious of measures to rehabilitate it starting from enhancing the medial awareness of the citizens till the government’s response to the large changes proposed by the supervisory commissions every now and then to upgrade the health sector,” he added.
