Iran denies Casey’s accusations over being involved in bombing holy shrine of Imam Askari

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iran denied the accusations of the former US leader of the Multi-national forces in Iraq, George Casey, over being involved in bombing the holy shrine of Imam Askari in Samara.

The Iranian embassy to Iraq stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran denies Casey’s accusation over being involved in bombing the holy shrine of Imam Askari in Samara and consider them as false accusations that justify the mean actions of the USA.”

Earlier, some websites attributed a statement to Casey where he accused Iran of being involved in bombing the holy shrine of Imam Askari in Samara in 2007.
