ISF capable of defeating Qaeda, Baath elements, confirms Sadrist MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Riyadh al-Zayadi of the Ahrar Parliamentary Bloc described the elements of the Iraqi Security Forces as “Heroes”, noting that “Iraqis have great confidence of the capacities of the Iraqi Security Forces in defeating the Qaeda and Baath elements.”

Speaking to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Sunday “Rumors about the existence of the terrorist formation known as al-Jaish al-Hur (Free Army) are mere lies.”

“The elements of the Baath and the Qaeda realize capacities of the Iraqi Army and Police when they fought and defeated the terrorist organizations,” he concluded.
