Jaafary, US official discuss problems hurdle democratic process

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, and the US charge d’affaires in Baghdad discussed the problems that hurdle the democratic process in Iraq.

A statement by Jaafary’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Jaafary received the US charge d’affaires at his office in Baghdad on Wednesday.”

“They discussed the political updates in the meeting and the means of solving the political disputes,” the statement concluded.
