Maliki’s nomination for 3rd term as Prime Minister rejected by Kurdistani Alliance

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistani Alliance announced its rejection of Nouri al-Maliki’s nomination for a third term of the Prime Minister’s post.

MP, Mahdi Hachi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The Kurdistani Alliance has a clear vision and strategy and it will not be affected by the pressures where the Kurds refuse Maliki’s nomination for the third Prime Minister post.”

“The disputes are still going on between Baghdad and Erbil where we need a new Prime Minister because Iraq has a parliamentary democratic system,” he concluded.
