KA calls to amend law of Iraq’s Oil Marketing Company

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Najiba Najib, of the Kurdistani Alliance called to amend the law of Iraq’s National Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).

She stated to IraqiNews.com “SOMO works according to the former regime law which is not compatible with the Federal Regime.”

“The Kurdistani Alliance wants to run the oil fields according to the constitution,” she added.

“No disputes about the point that all revenues of oil exports whether from Kurdistan Region or other provinces should go directly to the State Fund,” she concluded.
