Khuzaye, Algerian National Assembly’s Speaker discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Vice President, Khudhayer al-Khuzaye discussed on the sidelines of the Arab Economic Summit in Riyadh the Iraqi-Algerian bilateral relations with the Speaker of the Algerian National Assembly, Abdul Qadir bin Salih.

A statement by Khuzaye’s media office received by IraqiNews.com cited that “The two sides discussed a number of files of interest for both countries and the prospects to enhance the common ties.”

He continued saying “There are many commonalities between Iraq and Algeria where we wish to open wide doors for cooperation in the economic and cultural fields in addition to the other domains.”

“For his part, the Algerian National Assembly’s Speaker stressed his country’s eagerness to strengthen the Iraqi-Algerian bilateral relations through activating the means of common cooperation,” the statement concluded.

The Vice President has chaired the Iraqi delegation participating in 3rd Arab Economic Summit held on Tuesday in KSA, Riyadh.
