Khuzayi receives Diyala demonstrators’ demands

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, received the demands of the demonstrators and instructed a committee to follow them up.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzayi received a delegation involved chieftains and tribal figures of Diyala province on Monday evening.”

“Both sides agreed upon forming a joint committee to follow the cases of the detainees in Diyala up,” the statement concluded.

Diyala citizens demonstrated on last Friday, calling to cancel Article 4 of Anti-Terrorism Law and to release the women detainees in the detentions.
