Kurdish MP expects huge changes in PCs after elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shareef Suleiman, of the Kurdistani Alliance expected huge changes in the Provincial Councils after the upcoming PCs elections which are decided to be held in 2012, April.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, he mentioned “There will be huge changes in the political entities that won in the previous elections,” noting that “The changes will be based on the citizens’ evaluation for the services presented by the PCs.”

“The big slates will appear in another shape in the next elections and the little slates will witness a change concerning the number of the seats,” he emphasized.

“The changes are to be attributed to the failed performance of the PCs in respect to the services where the citizens will not support the sides who did not accomplish anything,” he concluded.

Earlier, an informed source revealed that “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, reached agreement with a number of Iraqiya Slate leaders to join the next Provincial Councils elections with a single slate.”

MP, Abd Thiyab al-Ajili, of the Iraqiya Slate revealed that “The leaders and the members of the IS reached agreement among them to hold strategic alliances with some political blocs.”
