Erbil (IraqiNews.com) A Kurdish official of Foreign Relations of Kurdistan Regional Government Falah Mustafa urged the United States of America not to interfere in the oil exports of Kurdistan Region.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The decision of the Kurds is in their hands and we express hope that America understands our political problems and not put itself into the conflict between Baghdad and Erbil.”

“We hope that America makes position of neutrality and keeps silent which is better in our opinion,” he concluded.

    It is ironic that the US administration has remained silent for many years knowing that Iraq is not implementing the constitution on almost every issue that relates to Kurdistan. The settlement relating to the Kurdistani areas outside the KRG administration and the 10% budget instead of the agreed 17% are just two examples. Nothing from the US on the full budget cut by Mr Maliki for the past five months either! Once oil started flowing, the fuss started. Did God made the Kurds to remain servants of servants for ever?
