Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ruz Mahdi, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out that the threats of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, over using the Iraqi Army in the internal conflicts send negative messages to the international community which keeps Iraq under the 7th Chapter of the UN Charter.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stressed “As we focus on relieving Iraq from the 7th Chapter, it is supposed to send positive messages concerning the internal political stability in Iraq.”
“The current exploitation of the IA forces in the internal disputes arouses the concerns of the regional countries and the international community,” he added.
“Iraq is still under the 7th Chapter because the international community is convinced that Iraq represents a threat for itself and the regional surrounding,” he continued.
“The head of the State of Law Coalition and Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, must be careful about taking such decisions,” he concluded.
