Maliki heads meeting to discuss security situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Commander of Armed Forces, Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the security Commanders discussed the security situation in the country.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior received by IraqiNews.com “On last Sunday late evening, Maliki headed a meeting for the security and intelligence commanders to discuss the security situation in the country.”

“The meeting tackled the required measures to pursue the terrorists and to solve the problem of the security breaches,” the statement added.

“The meeting resulted in taking the steps that enhance the performance of the security forces to confront terrorism,” the statement concluded.
