Maliki to meet with Governors over rain-related floods

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will hold a meeting with the Governors to discuss the raid-related floods.

A statement by the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received by IraqiNews.com cited “Maliki will head a meeting with the Governors and the specialized sides to discuss controlling the rain-related floods.”

“Maliki instructed the Municipalities Ministry and Baghdad Mayoralty to take urgent actions that could help settling this crisis,” the statement concluded.
