Merkel: Pressure the Iraqi government to form an inclusive government

Merkel said in a speech to the parliament that “the government of Iraq has failed over the years to integrate the views of all groups in the country and we must pressure them to do so.”

Merkel added that “we need a government in Iraq to adopt all components of the people,” indicating that” over the years, this did not happen and because of this, pressure must be increased.”
