MP accuses Government of hindering performance of parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Lateef Mustafa, accused the Government of hindering the performance of the parliament.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “When the parliament forms investigation committees, the Government neglects the results of the investigations.”

“In case the results come in the side of the Government, the Government will implement the results as in the issue of the Central Bank of Iraq,” he added.

“Neglecting the results of the committees is limiting the role of the parliament and hurdling its performance,” he concluded.
