MP: Governmental mafias behind wasting 4 USD Billion monthly

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Kadhim al-Shimmari, of the White bloc stated “The report of the US General Inspector, Stewart Bon, talked about wasting about one USD Billion from Iraq by forged documents.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday, he said “Iraq loses four USD Billions monthly in the formal bank deals, but in the informal deals the amount increases,” noting that “There are governmental mafias behind such issues that will destroy the Iraqi economy.”

He called “The government to investigate this dangerous issue.”
