MP: Strict security measures to protect prisons in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hakim al-Zamili, of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee stated that the security forces adopted strict security measures to protect the prisons in Baghdad.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com Zamili said “These measures are to reduce the attempts to escape from the prisons beause some prisons face danger such as Taji prison in Baghdad.”

“The prisons in Nasiriya city and southern Iraq are completely secured but there are some prisons in the disturbed provinces that need to be protected,” he concluded. /End/
