Nusaiyf calls to hand over sentenced to death Iraqi fisher in Kuwait to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliaya Nusaiyf, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called the Justice Minister, Hassan al-Shimmari, to ask Kuwait to hand over the sentenced to death Iraqi fisher in Kuwait to the Iraqi authorities.

In a press statement received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said “Sentencing the Iraqi fisher to death by the Kuwaiti authorities under the charges of killing one of the Kuwaiti shores guards is not confirmed whether the killed person was killed by the Kuwaiti sides by mistake or not because the Iraqi fisher is a civilian whose job is to fish.”

She expressed surprise over “The statements of the Kuwait Ambassador to Iraq and his Iraqi counterpart in addition not attending the trail of the Iraqi fisher,” calling Shimmari to “Immediately call Kuwait to hand the Iraqi fisher over to Iraq.”
