President confirms efforts to liberate Nineveh from ISIL

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) While meeting a delegation from Nineveh Provincial Council, President, Fuad Masoum, stressed “the preparations are underway at a high level to pursue ISIL gangs in Mosul.”

The President received today a delegation from Nineveh PC where he shed light on the political and security developments in the country and referred to the historical importance of Mosul city as being an industrial city and has considerable human resources and energies.

Speaking on the security plans to liberate the ISIL-held regions, Masoum assured “the preparations are underway at a high level to clear Mosul and expel the terrorists there.” /End/
